重庆玺院国际青年旅舍位于市中心渝中区解放碑附近，旁边是三峡旅游的入口朝天门码头，作为长江岸边的背包客栈，是驴友在重庆旅游住宿的最方便之选。周边有湖广会馆、三峡博物馆、洪崖洞、罗汉寺等景点；公交、轻轨、索道、轮渡都乘坐方便，从旅舍步行5分钟有朝天门公交枢纽中心，到机场，火车站，汽车站以及重庆其他主要区域均有直达公交。
相比重庆众多的经济型酒店，我们更象个小型的特色酒店：典型重庆山城建筑，上下二个入口。旅舍内有天井和连廊，旅舍的三楼和五楼均有观江景台。旅舍内墙全用老厂房拆迁老砖砌成，客房有不同主题，另有一个LOFT酒吧等。
